These are difficult questions for which there are not any simple answers. Nobody knows today, in which direction the economy, professions, society, technologies will develop. And in spite of that: sometimes a decision on what to do after school must be made.
There are many sources of careers information and guidance and there is also support offered if problems emerge during training. Often the decision about where or through who the correct supports will be given, is difficult. So: first it is necessary to have an overview of the different opportunities and offers. The following pages provide information and will enable you to share and benefit from the experience of advice and guidance professionals and other people in similar situations.
In particular there is the chance to find out about training and further education opportunities and systems in other European countries. There is also the option to get in contact with people with the same questions and problems.
We live in an information society. To sort, to evaluate, to select, these are abilities which are not only important to view TV, to play computer games and to choose music. The ability to select and choose are key competencies that become increasingly important in future.
