The European labour market is slowly but surely becoming a reality. Qualifications are becoming more comparable. In spite of that it can be difficult to find a job in another European country. Staying in another European country for a longer period often helps to provide answers to some of the common problems. However at the moment workers do have many opportunities in some countries to get a good job. There is also good training including free training places in some countries. Our purpose is to ensure that young people are able to exploit the opportunities provided by the European labour market. We suggest visiting another country during or after training to get work experience. This could be just a short visit with a view to staying for a longer period of time at a later date.
We, the partners in this project, can help with answering questions on this theme. We have practical training places. We can help to support young people abroad, but we don’t offer an ”all inclusive service” like a travel agency. In particular, developing personal skills e.g. language training, to enforce intercultural competence and the use of other techniques. Living and working in other cultural surrounding develops the independence. Therefore: Be brave, you will get the benefit!
